Not just engines, but powertrain internals in general have a kind of mystique about them, don’t they? Partly because they’re kind of a rare sight, and partly because no matter how rusty the outside of a car is, these things spend their lives bathed in oil. It’s kind of tragic that this beauty is sealed away, often never to be seen again. Especially those colorful rocker arms.
